Born in uncertainty, built with intention
If you have heard of businesses born during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, you can add us to that list: Towerganics.
What began as a simple idea, almost left unsubmitted until the final day of the IFRC-led Limitless programme, grew into something far beyond what we imagined. That single decision set everything in motion. After a year of mentorship and learning, Towerganics was recognized as one of the winners of the Solferino Academy Limitless programme, receiving a seed fund that gave us both confidence and responsibility.
At the time, we were two people balancing jobs and expectations, holding onto a belief that food could be grown differently. We chose to let go of stability and build something more meaningful, a soilless agriculture venture in Nepal.
It was not easy. In a place where agricultural innovation moves slowly, the idea of growing food without soil was met with skepticism. Many dismissed it, some questioned it, but we continued to learn, build, and share.
Over time, something shifted.
A community began to grow. Today, Towerganics lives across homes, hospitality spaces, and thoughtfully designed environments where food is not just consumed, but experienced. With every tower we place, whether in a private balcony or within a larger curated setting, we see a quiet transformation, people reconnecting with what they eat.
Our vision is simple. Even a small space can grow something meaningful. A balcony corner, a rooftop edge, or an integrated space within a resort or retreat can become a source of fresh, clean produce. A handful of greens. A deeper connection to food. A more intentional way of living.
This is not about competing with market prices. It is about awareness, trust, and long-term well-being. The true value lies in knowing what you eat and where it comes from, and in creating spaces that reflect that philosophy.
We are building slowly and intentionally.
One tower at a time.
